Early conceptual exploration for a metaverse game environment. We decided early on that the setting would be floating 'themed' islands, and that the first island that we would build would be a picturesque parkland where various events could take place for players (festivals, concerts, etc). My initial high-level concepts were refined down to a crescent shaped design, that was then used by our 3D environment artists as a blueprint to block-out the first stages of the island in 3D.
