3D Art Deco interior concept design for a section of the 'Grand Avant' hotel - affectionately named 'The Birdcage' - from an unreleased Secret Agent game. The 'Grand Avant' hotel is somewhat inspired by the functionality of 'The Continental' hotel from the 'John Wick' franchise (ie a 'safe space for Agents/Operatives) with gameplay flavours of the Hitman series. This 3-level structure sits at the far end of the Main Lobby for the hotel, and consists of 180-degree glazing, allowing players to have views of the surrounding Dubai vista. My design is a fusion of classical Art Deco with more contemporary aesthetics, to match the overall tone we established for the hotel's design. Due to time constraints, my 3D blockout model ended up being used as the final game meshes. Subsequently, the 'Grand Avant' ended up becoming a part of the broader metaverse experiences at Improbable.
