Orb interior concept designs for a metaverse game environment. The Orb functions as a floating venue space for hosting events, gameshows, intimate concerts, presentations, etc. I aimed for the Orb interior to have a natural, friendly aesthetic, with smooth, flowing lines. I blocked out my initial design in 3D, and then used this as a base to create 2D concept designs over the top. The space was designed to be able to easily be transformed, depending on it's function; for example a giant opening in the floor can appear for certain gameshow events, and a central podium appear for live musical performances. The inner surface of the Orb was able to present any visual content, whether that be a presentation, videos, or 3D scenes. Additionally, various exterior 'skin' designs were explored for the giant sphere, with the intention being that its appearance would change depending on the event taking place inside.
